THE PREFITTED WAIVER DELAYS PAYMENT AND REDUCES COSTS...
The Prefitted waiver covers you for loss, damage and theft and means that in the event of these happening, you don't have to front the big costs for replacing the equipment while in resort.
You can get on with your trip by receiving new equipment, or leave resort without paying the hire shop directly. The waiver also reduces the total amount that you have to pay.
If you've lost your equipment mid-week, the Prefitted waiver will allow you to collect new equipment without paying then and there. Instead, when you return to the UK you'll be issued with an invoice for the equipment excess(es).
Broken your equipment? You will be liable for the replacement cost(s). With the Prefitted waiver, you don't have to pay these in resort and can instead pay a reduced amount on your return to the UK.
If your equipment is stolen, you should go and file a police report. Take this to the shop and they'll provide you with new equipment. On your return to the UK, we'll issue you with an invoice for the excess(es) of the stolen equipment.

The Prefitted waiver delays payment and reduces costs but it does not mean you don't have to pay anything. You are liable for the excesses as detailed below. But don't worry! Once you've paid us, we can give you a receipt that will help you claim on your insurance (providing your policy covers ski equipment...)!
